Dreams of Prague

Lombroso, the sorrowful anticipant of the dogmas of Schizophrenia, tells this story, which he attests was verified by the court. Miss Loganson, a nineteen-Year-old in Chicago, saw in a dream the murder of her brother Oscar, a farmer in Marengo, fifty miles northwest of Chicago. For several days she insisted that her brother's neighbor, also a farmer, had murdered him. At first no one paid any attention to her: finally, however, they allowed her to send a telegram. The reply came: Oscar had disappeared.
